The "new" app for this game is basically just an extension to the web version, which I could've already played in my phones browser. At least add a portrait mode so I can play one handed! I'll be playing grepolis classic and then will probably quit when that is discontinued. Other than that, it's a good game. Has the usual pay to win experience in some ways, but also gives you a way to earn in game currency without buying it which is nice.

Unless you get with a great alliance from the start and can grow fast, it's very p2w. Even then victory isn't guaranteed and it takes forever.. it's an rts with a world end date, addicting? Sure, but alarms never work and you'll lose a ton of progress in a wink.. Edit: one year later: classic app is shutting down so this can take its place? but this app is buggier can't activate email account for whatever reason.. will not resend to my email so idek with inno anymore. *misses alpha, beta, gamma*

In the old app you were able to go from one city to the other depending on what city had the most population, which was super helpful. In this app you can organize them also in matter of population, but when you try going to the next city it takes you to the next city in alphabetical order, rather than population. So you have to open the city list again, find the next city in population order, and select it. What used to take one click in the old app now takes over 10 clicks. Please fix. Thank y

Exciting to see that the distance between Desktop and Mobile UI is being narrowed. The App is smooth overall and you can access the Overviews that the old mobile app can't-- which is very convenient indeed. It loads faster than the old app and has smooth transition between diff game windows. Looking forward to improvements such as enlarging certain icons on-screen and perhaps adjusting the sizes of a few selections to better fit the Mobile UI without dismissing the overall Desktop look.

horrible interface, I used to play on mobile and it was user friendly, now it's impossible. it feels like they just took the web version and ported it with windows and all included. HORRIBLE

That's just porting the web version to customised mobile web browser and it's totally useless if you want to play this game for real! Old Mobile app for Android was something you can use when you're away from PC to perform basic game tasks like attack and defend but now you're forced to play it like you're playing it on mobile browser Bottomline, if you're new to the game don't even try it ... Thank you Inno ... many "old" players who relied on mob app to play when off the PC will quit playing!

don't like the change in view versus the older app, nor the force lock of the screen orientation. prefer the older app like I prefer breathing, either straight up get rid of this version of grepolis app or adjust this version to be closer to the original version. I understand the devs wanted to make this version as close to the webpage of the game but I think they should cut their loses and make it phone friendly or just trash it and go back to working on the OG app. deleting this version for OG

The game is a great play on PC and the old app was great but this new app is terrible on web browser on landscape the app won't open buildings then when you click on map the all buttons are half way out side of the screen and so on. really i don't understand how you could realise this trash before making it better then the old app. and allso in this new map that scamming people's gold is mutch more expensive on this app then on PC browser so for advice if you plan pay to win buy from PC

Great game. Stopped playing a few years back due to its addictive nature and sadly lots of cheating, although after returning I have noticed the admin has clamped down on the cheats. It is free to play the game and there are no adverts, although for the price of a cup of coffee a day your experience is greatly improved. For first time players it is highly recommended to spend a few hours studying the guides on how best to play, and to not be too concerned about losing initially.

I've played this game for more than 10 years. I would suggest not playing USA servers. I'm not sure about other countries. I've seen the mod show favoritism to our enemy. City name rock hard got player ban. The player threatened for " spaming" support. That wasn't what spamming means in the game . It doesn't hurt the player,yet they doings to us same thing and reported all we here crickets. Also, mod joined world was in our core, and trips magically disappeared and enemy took city.

I love this game ever since the I started playing, it is awesome the theory and the calculations. I would put no other in the category that I have tried above it, however the recapture process for some mobile phones stalls and takes over the playing area after verification. It seldom moves and causes not just delays in signing in but valuable calculations time.
